Police Sita Jaklingko Angkot after hitting a motorcyclist to death in Cilandak
JAKARTA - A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident involving a JakLingko microtrans on Jalan Andara Raya, Cilandak, South Jakarta, early Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
The incident was confirmed by the Head of the Sub Directorate of Law Enforcement and Law Enforcement Directorate of Metro Jaya Traffic Police, AKBP Ojo Ruslani. He said the accident caused one person to die and another victim was injured.
"The accident occurred at around 04.45 WIB in front of Bakso Andara 354 Mas No Wonogiri, Cilandak area, South Jakarta," said Ojo, Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
Based on the police report, the vehicles involved in the accident were the JakLingko microtrans with the police number B 2119 PG and a Honda Vario motorcycle with the police number B 3009 UIO.
The JakLingko microtrans is known to be driven by Wasji (44), a resident of Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Honda Vario motorcycle was driven by Muhammad Bima Aryakusuma (23), a resident of Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, with a passenger named Fahmi Fahreza (24).
"As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist, Muhammad Bima Aryakusuma, suffered serious head injuries and was declared dead at the scene of the crime (TKP). The victim's body was then taken to Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta, for further examination," said Ojo.
Meanwhile, the motorcycle passenger, Fahmi Fahreza, suffered injuries to the head, right and left hands, and left leg. The victim is currently undergoing medical treatment at RSUP Fatmawati Cilandak, South Jakarta.
Based on the testimony of witnesses at the scene, the accident began when the JakLingko microtrans drove from south to north on Jalan Andara Raya.
"Upon arrival in front of Bakso Andara 354 Mas No Wonogiri, the vehicle turned right or eastwards," said Ojo.
At the same time, a Honda Vario motorcycle was traveling from north to south on the same road. So, the collision was inevitable.
"Both vehicles were damaged and caused casualties," he said.
Ojo added that until now the exact cause of the accident was still under investigation.
"The police have secured a number of evidence, including one unit of the JakLingko B 2119 PG microtrans, one vehicle registration certificate, one SIM A General on behalf of Wasji, and one unit of the Honda Vario B 3009 UIO motorcycle," he concluded.
