Ressa Rizky's 7 Billion Dollar Lawsuit Against Denada Still Going On

JAKARTA - Although Denada has made a confession video, it seems that it will not immediately stop the ongoing legal process.

Ressa Rizky's lawyer, Ronald Armada, confirmed that the lawsuit for compensation of IDR 7 billion would continue.

"Well, if it's about the 7 billion lawsuit, it's like this... this lawsuit, even though there is no admission, we can't change it at will," said Ronald in South Jakarta, Tuesday, February 3.

According to him, the lawsuit that has been registered cannot be changed just like that. Everything will go according to the procedures set by the court.

The confession video from Denada has indeed fulfilled one of the petitums or demands in their lawsuit. However, there are still other demands that have not been fulfilled.

"With this confession, one of the petitums that I submitted (was fulfilled). Where the other petitum is, yes, including an apology to my mother that I am chasing, including the 7 billion," he explained.

The formulation of the demand for Rp7 billion is based on the calculation of material and immaterial losses suffered by Ressa and her foster family for 24 years.

The only way to stop this lawsuit, according to Ronald, is with a direct meeting. Denada's party must come and discuss it properly.

"If Denada really wants to stop this case, yes, yes, come here, chat comfortably... make a confession, apologize, it's over," he said.
