Ukraine is under increasing pressure, Russia prepares 310,000 military equipment-21 million ammunition for its army

JAKARTA - The Russian Defense Ministry revealed that it would supply 310,000 units of military equipment and about 21 million ammunition to its Army amid the increasingly massive attack on Ukraine.

Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov said about 2 million rounds of ammunition and more than 10 thousand weapons had been delivered in the previous month.

"In January, more than 10,000 weapons and about 2 million rounds of ammunition entered service," he said, quoted by Tass, Wednesday, February 4.

Belousov explained that the total alutsista and ammunition for the Russian Army would be supplied throughout 2026.

He did not elaborate further on whether the distribution would be periodic or in a certain period.

"There are plans to send more than 310,000 units of military equipment and about 21 million rounds of ammunition to the Army [by] the end of this year," a separate statement from the Russian Defense Ministry said.
