KPK Searches DJBC Headquarters, Customs Respect Legal Process

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the headquarters of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) of the Ministry of Finance, on Wednesday, February 4.

Head of the Customs Public Relations and Counseling Subdirectorate Budi Prasetiyo said that currently the KPK team is still conducting an examination of the Customs official.

"Currently, the KPK team is conducting an examination of BC officials," he told VOI, Wednesday, February 4.

He emphasized that the Customs is committed to being cooperative and respecting all legal processes that are underway.

"BC is committed to being cooperative and respectful of the ongoing process," he explained.

Budi added that his party was also still waiting for further developments from the examination.

"We are still following up on further developments," he added.
