The Government Disburses PMN to Reach IDR 11.46 Trillion for Transportation and Housing
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto has officially issued four Government Regulations (PP) which regulate the addition of state capital participation (PMN) sourced from the 2025 State Budget.
Meanwhile, the total PMN funds allocated reached IDR 11.46 trillion and were intended to support the railway sector, national shipping, and financing for people's housing.
The policy is contained in four regulations, namely PP Number 51 of 2025 concerning the Addition of State Capital Participation in BPI Danantara Capital in the Implementation of Assignments by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero); PP Number 52 of 2025 concerning the Addition of State Capital Participation in BPI Danantara Capital in the Assignment by PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero).
Furthermore, PP Number 53 of 2025 concerning the Addition of State Capital Participation in BPI Danantara Capital in the Context of Assignment by PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero); and PP Number 54 of 2025 concerning the Addition of State Capital Participation in the Share Capital of PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) in the Context of the Implementation of the Assignment.
The four regulations were signed by President Prabowo on December 30, 2025 and the funding comes from the State Budget for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
In the railway sector, the government disbursed PMN of IDR 1.8 trillion through the Nusantara Anagata Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) which was passed on to PT KAI.
This fund is allocated for the procurement and retrofit of electric train (KRL) to improve the quality of urban passenger transport services, with priority given to the use of domestic products.
In addition, the government also added PMN of IDR 473 billion to PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero) through BPI Danantara.
This capital injection is intended to strengthen the production capacity of railway facilities, including the development of manufacturing facilities, propulsion systems, and bogies, as part of efforts to revitalize the national railway industry.
For the shipping sector, the government allocated PMN worth Rp2.5 trillion to PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero).
The funds will be used to procure three units of economy class passenger ships and support the fleet rejuvenation program, involving domestic shipyards.
Meanwhile, outside the transportation sector, the government also disbursed PMN of IDR 6.68 trillion to PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero).
This capital addition is intended to strengthen the liquidity of the banking channel of the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) Program, so that housing financing for low-income people can continue.
