Kaltara Ready to Accelerate Presidential Priority Program
BOGOR - North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Governor Zainal Arifin Paliwang together with Deputy Governor (Wagub) Ingkong Ala, Chairman of the Kaltara DPRD Achmad Djufrie, and Kaltara Forkopimda attended the 2026 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of the Central and Regional Government at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor on Monday.
This Rakornas becomes a point of consolidation of the direction of national development.
The Rakornas, which was opened by President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, carried the theme "Synergy between the Center and the Regions in the Implementation of the Priority Program of President Prabowo Subianto towards Golden Indonesia 2045".
The President emphasized the common vision, steps, and speed of execution of the program so that the benefits are felt by the community.
"People want leaders who are fair, honest and work for the people's interests," said President Prabowo Subianto.
Meanwhile, Governor Zainal emphasized that this forum was interpreted as a signal of acceleration in the region so that his party was ready to accelerate the implementation of central policies, especially in sectors that directly touch the basic needs of the people.
"We are motivated to move, not run anymore, but run fast and hopefully all regional heads can implement what has become the wisdom of the central leadership," said the Governor.
Zainal said that one of the focuses highlighted was the food security of Kaltara which had been running but needed land expansion for rice production.
"Our food security has moved all, we just need to add new land and new rice fields to be able to increase rice production in Kaltara. Because rationally, food security is already very good," said Zainal.
In addition, the North Kalimantan Provincial Government also emphasized its commitment to orderly and transparent budget management, in line with the President's direction.
"This Rakornas is a momentum to unite the rhythm of work between the center and the regions so that priority programs run effectively down to the lowest level," said Zainal.
"We will continue to strengthen cross-sectoral coordination in Kaltara so that all national programs can run effectively at the regional level," he said.
