3 SD Terdampak Longsor Ciarua Berlakukan Belajar Daring hingga 6 Februari
JAKARTA - The West Bandung Regency Government (Pemkab) has implemented online learning for three elementary schools (SD) affected by a landslide disaster in Pasirlangu Village, Cisarua District.
Head of the West Bandung Regency Education Office Asep Dendih said the three schools were SD Negeri Karya Bakti, SD Negeri Pasirlangu 1, and SD Negeri Cinta Bakti.
"They are not on vacation, but they are learning online because the school location is close to the post, some are used for public kitchens and logistics," said Asep in West Bandung, Tuesday, quoted by Anrara.
He explained that distance learning would take place until the emergency response status for disasters ended on February 6, 2026. His party hopes that teaching and learning activities can be carried out face to face after the emergency period is over.
"It will apply until the emergency period. Hopefully next week we can study face to face again," he said.
Asep revealed that there were two students who died due to a landslide that hit Pasirlangu Village on Saturday, January 24.
"For the victims, there are two students who died. Of course we also sympathize," he said.
Regarding assistance, Asep added that the West Java Provincial Government, the West Bandung Regency Government, and related agencies have prepared assistance schemes for residents and students affected by the disaster.
"The government has prepared compensation for the deceased and other assistance. From the Education Office, we also provide assistance for students who are directly affected," he said.
In addition, his party continues to coordinate with schools and local authorities to ensure that the education process continues to run while maintaining student safety during disaster handling.
