East Java Region Called by President Prabowo Related to Garbage, Governor Kofifah Immediately Confirmed

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized cleanliness and waste management in his speech at the 2026 National Coordination Meeting of the Central and Regional Governments in Sentul, Bogor, Monday, February 2.

One of the areas that President Prabowo mentioned in relation to waste management is Banyuwangi, East Java.

East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa was met by reporters at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 3, saying that he immediately confirmed the handling of waste to the Banyuwangi Regent.

According to Khofifah, the picture shown by President Prabowo Subianto was not in the Banyuwangi area.

However, Khofifah will still respond to President Prabowo Subianto's instructions regarding waste management.
