Global Certification Confirms the Presence of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Series, Watch 9, and Watch Ultra 2

JAKARTA - Ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, which is expected to be held on February 25, the presence of the Galaxy Tab S12 Series and a number of Samsung's latest smartwatches are confirmed in the global certification database.

Based on Smartprix's findings, there are two tablets recorded in the GSMA IMEI database, including the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. The Galaxy Tab S12+ is recorded with the model number SM-X846B, while the Ultra model is recorded with the model number SM-X946B.

This database does not reveal signs of the presence of the standard Galaxy Tab S12. Given these findings, it is likely that Samsung will change its tablet marketing strategy again, such as the launch of the Tab S11 series. At that time, Samsung only presented the standard and Ultra models.

In addition to tablets, the GSMA database also revealed the presence of the next generation smart watch. There are two devices listed, namely the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The Galaxy Watch 9 is listed with the model number SM-L345U and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is listed with the model number SM-L716U.

Both tablets and smartwatches, the data in the GSMA IMEI does not reveal the specifications or features of all of these devices. However, the findings of these devices indirectly confirm that Samsung has entered the early stages of launch preparations.

If you look at the pattern, the devices that appear in this database usually appear about six to seven months later. That way, the Galaxy Tab S12 Series, Watch 9, and Watch Ultra 2 are expected to be present at the second Galaxy Unpacked which is usually held in the middle of the year.

This gives clues that the Galaxy Tab S12 Series and Watch Ultra 2, which are the flagship models of Samsung's watches, will be the main stars in the second Galaxy Unpacked event. Meanwhile, the first Galaxy Unpacked will focus on Samsung's latest flagship phone, the Galaxy S26 Series.
