No Exceptions, Foreigners Who Are Directors of SOEs Must Report Wealth to the KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the submission of the wealth report of state administrators (LHKPN) applies to all levels of SOEs directors. Including, foreign nationals (WNA) who occupy the position.

It is known that two foreign citizens are currently occupying positions at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero). They are the Director of Finance and Risk Management Balagopal Kunduvara and the Director of Transformation Neil Raymond Mills whose appointment was made through the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) on October 15, 2025.

"As a state organizer, it is still mandatory to report your LHKPN," said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters through his written statement, Tuesday, February 3.

Budi said there was no reason for them not to carry out this obligation. The KPK is said to be ready to provide assistance if there are difficulties in its implementation.

"If there are any obstacles in filling it out, including when entering the identity number in the new registration process, you can immediately coordinate with the KPK LHKPN Directorate," he said.

Meanwhile, on a separate occasion, Budi said that only 32.52 percent of officials had reported their assets to the KPK as of January 31. They were asked to immediately complete their obligations before March 31.

"This obligation applies to the heads of state institutions, ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, heads of government and non-structural institutions, regional heads, DPRD leaders, and directors of SOEs and BUMD throughout Indonesia," said Budi.

Budi said that the LHKPN report was an important instrument in encouraging transparency and accountability in state administration. "For this reason, the KPK appeals to all state administrators or mandatory reporters (PN/WL) who have not reported to immediately submit it correctly, completely, and on time."
