The Ministry of Youth and Sports Holds an Open Selection for Deputy for the Development of the Sports Industry
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) officially held an open selection to fill the position of high-ranking position of the Deputy for the Development of the Sports Industry.
The selection is open to both civil servants (PNS) and non-PNS professionals as a commitment in realizing transparent, professional, and ethical bureaucratic governance.
The Chairman of the Selection Committee (Pansel), Gunawan Suswantoro, said that anyone who meets the qualifications and is interested in occupying the position is welcome to apply.
"This selection aims to find a figure who can build the sports industry in the future in a sustainable manner," he said in a press conference in Jakarta.
The open selection and providing opportunities for non-civil servants is a real implementation of the Government's policy direction for bureaucratic reform which emphasizes the principles of meritocracy, accountability, and openness.
In addition, this effort is to ensure that the leadership position in the Ministry of Youth and Sports environment must be filled by competent, capable, and public service-oriented figures.
Gunawan ensured that the committee would not be interfered with by any party during the selection, including from the environment of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
"The open selection for the position of Deputy for the Development of the Sports Industry has in principle received the approval of the President and the Ministry of PAN RB," said Gunawan.

This department is very strategic in supporting the performance of the Ministry of Youth and Sports which is a real potential to become a strategic sector to support the national economy.
The selection committee team consists of academics, professionals, cross-ministries, and internal Kemenpora. They are Chandra Hamzah from academics; Susyanto from professionals; Rabin Indrajad Hattari; Amperawan as Deputy for Human Development, Culture, and Community Empowerment, Cabinet Support Secretary for Kemensesneg; and Gunawan Suswantoro from the Kemenpora Secretary.
Participants who pass the administration will take a competency test, make a paper, and an interview. Participants will be judged objectively with the same standards.
