Mobile Phone Jambret in TB Simatupang Arrested by Residents

JAKARTA - One perpetrator of a robbery was arrested by residents after carrying out the action on Jalan TB Simatupang, East Jakarta.

The two perpetrators were arrested after carrying out a robbery against a woman who used public transportation.

The incident occurred when the victim with the initials D was waiting for a bus at the location of the incident. Then came two perpetrators riding a motorcycle.

One of the perpetrators immediately took the victim's cellphone. After getting the victim's cellphone, the victim screamed.

Both perpetrators fled. However, the victim's screams were successfully shouted by residents until the pursuit was carried out.

One perpetrator was arrested after being intercepted by the JakLingko vehicle. The perpetrator was then beaten by the crowd until he was beaten and taken to the Ciracas Police.

Meanwhile, another perpetrator managed to escape with the stolen mobile phone.

The victim also made a police report on the incident that happened to him. According to the victim, the cellphone is worth Rp. 1.5 million.
