Angkot Driver Nyambi Becomes a Heroin Dealer, Arrested in Front of Cacing Stop
JAKARTA - A drug dealer with the initials S alias L was arrested by members of the Tanjung Priok Port Police Narcotics Unit in front of the Cakung Cilincing Road bus stop, North Jakarta.
"The evidence seized was in the form of 6 plastic clips containing 1.46 grams of methamphetamine and one mobile phone unit," said Head of Narcotics at the Tanjung Priok Port Police, AKP Trendy Habibi when confirmed, Monday, February 02, 2026.
From his identity, the suspect has another job, namely as a angkot driver. The suspect is recorded as a resident of Cilincing District, North Jakarta.
"He played the role of a distributor of methamphetamine," he said.
AKP Trendy Habibi said the arrest of the suspect began from information about drug circulation obtained by the Opsnal Team of the Timsus Unit.
"Then the team carried out an investigation and arrested S alias L in front of the bus stop and found 6 packages of ready-to-use methamphetamine," he said.
The 6 packages of methamphetamine were given the letter code A to F on the packaging by the suspect.
"The suspect admitted that the drugs were obtained from the Kebon Pisang (Bonpis) area, North Jakarta. The suspect bought from a dealer with the initials Mr. X for 1 gram.
Then the suspects and the evidence were taken to the Tanjung Priok Port Police for further investigation.
"The suspect was charged with Article 114 paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and or Article 609 paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Adjustment," he said.
