Agency Denies Kim Seon Ho Created His Own Agency to Evade Taxes
JAKARTA - Kim Seon Ho's agency, Fantagio, released a statement containing a rebuttal to the news that the actor had violated tax payments. Not only that, he is also rumored to have a family-run company.
On Sunday, February 1, South Korean local media reported that Kim Seon Ho was running a family-run production company and may have avoided paying taxes in this way. Previously, this was allegedly done by Cha Eun Woo with his family.
Fantagio as the agency representing Kim Seon Ho stated that all of the actor's activities are managed under Fantagio. Previously, he was rumored to be the CEO of a family company while his director and auditor were his parents.
"Kim Seon Ho is carrying out activities under an exclusive contract with Fantagio with his personal capacity and he complies with all legal and tax-related procedures," Fantagio said.
"We would like to state that there is no issue regarding the contract or activities between Kim Seon Ho and Fantagio," they explained.
Furthermore, the agency confirmed that a company was established but it happened in the past. In addition, this company was created to cover the activities at the theater that Kim Seon Ho first took part in in the entertainment industry.
"The one-person company that was mentioned in the past was used for theater production and related activities and was never created to avoid paying taxes. After Kim Seon Ho moved to Fantagio, business operations at the company were reduced a year ago," Fantagio explained.
"This company is undergoing a closure process related to applicable laws and procedures. In the future, we will continue to follow the rules and procedures related to our activities and we ensure that our actors' careers will take place without misunderstandings," the agency concluded.
Kim Seon Ho joined Fantagio in March 2025 after ending his contract with SALT Entertainment.
