Concert Without Distance: Ultraverse Festival Jakarta Brings Together D'MASIV to Afgan in Real-Time Technology

JAKARTA - The GBK Jakarta Madya Stadium witnessed the birth of a new era of music festivals in Indonesia. ULTRAVERSE FESTIVAL 2026 successfully enchanted thousands of spectators with a unique 3 Cities Live Connected format, a series of concerts that connect the Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bali stages in real-time via the XL Ultra 5G+ network.

Since the gate opened at 14.00 WIB, the festival atmosphere felt comfortable with complete facilities for the audience, ranging from XL's premier card to raincoats and mobile phone protectors, ensuring that euphoria is maintained even though the weather changes.

Cross-City Collaboration Through Visual Portal

The main attraction of this festival is the "Visual Portal" which allows musicians in two different cities to collaborate as if they were on the same stage.

Opening Energy: D'MASIV opened the Jakarta stage with an explosion of energy, followed by a unique collaboration with Kotak live from Surabaya.

Groovy & Emotional Vibes: Maliq & D'Essentials brought a groovy atmosphere before blending with RAN (Surabaya). Entering the twilight, Bernadya carried Jakarta audiences into an emotional atmosphere through musical dialogue with Rony Parulian who was on the Surabaya stage.

Harmony Night: The excitement peaked when Afgan performed his signature songs, followed by a harmonious collaboration with Rossa (Surabaya). Not to be outdone, Kahitna invited mass sing-along before giving a surprise collaboration with Project Pop.

Climax of Three Points

The Jakarta stage is getting hotter with GIGI's explosive action collaborating with the legend, Iwan Fals & Band from Surabaya. As a closing, the audience in Jakarta and Surabaya is invited to "fly" to Bali through a visual portal to enjoy the electronic music boom from Afrojack who performed Live from Bali.

Alfons Bosch Sansa, Chief Marketing Officer of XLSMART, stated that the fastest 5G technology in Indonesia from XL is the key to the festival's success.

"Ultraverse Festival proves that music and technology can merge without pause. With XL Ultra 5G+, this cross-city performance can be enjoyed in real-time and still be comfortable for audiences in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bali," said Alfons.

ULTRAVERSE FESTIVAL 2026 is not just a regular concert, but a new standard in the Indonesian entertainment industry that successfully removes the distance limit through unlimited connectivity. (ADV)
