Healthy Culinary Innovation Becomes a Primadona: Peek at the Fun of the DSC Season 16 Final and the Person Behind the Viral Powdered Peanut Butter

JAKARTA - The world of Indonesian cuisine has once again given birth to a new star who is ready to change people's lifestyles. At the peak event of the Final Diplomat Success Challenge (DSC) Season 16, healthy food innovation officially stole the stage. Jonathan Holiyanto, founder of Lean Lab, was crowned as the Best of The Best thanks to his revolutionary low-fat and high-protein powder jam product.

The success of Lean Lab in obtaining a business capital grant of IDR 320 million is proof that culinary businesses that are relevant to modern lifestyles - that is, practical but still healthy - have a very large market potential in the future.

Not Just a Business, But a Character "Founder"

Unlike ordinary business competitions, DSC Season 16 emphasizes the toughness of the character of business owners through the Founder's Arena phase. Here, young entrepreneurs are tested mentally in making quick decisions under pressure.

Surjanto Yasaputera, Chairman of the DSC Commissioner Board, explained that the key to the success of future entrepreneurship lies in the 3P formula: Understanding, Standards, and Persona.

"We are looking for a figure who not only has a strong business model, but also adaptive leadership. Jonathan from Lean Lab shows that balance; he understands the healthy culinary market, is good at executing products, and has a collaborative leader persona," said Surjanto.

List of Shining Culinary and Creative Brands

In addition to Lean Lab, the final stage was also enlivened by a row of other culinary and lifestyle brands that managed to bring home business capital grants from a total pot of Rp. 2.5 billion:

F&B (Culinary): Bela Putra Perdana (House of Indonesian Tempe) and Ghea Anisa (Roti Kembang) who bring local food ingredients to a more modern level.

Lifestyle & Fashion: Dhea Febrina (Klab Serru!) and Sigma Project, a shoe brand with a social mission for children in Papua.

Technology: Kevin Ananta Marga (Vityuu Sweet Block Spray) and Sidhi Umbara (Revelware Technology).

Sustainable Culture and Lifestyle Collaboration

This year, DSC Season 16 looks more stylish by partnering with cultural icons such as Mangkunegaran and Batik Iwan Tirta. This step was taken to ensure that the business of young Indonesians remains rooted in cultural values but remains globally relevant.

Edric Chandra, Program Initiator DSC, added that this synergy is the key for local brands to be upgraded. "We want to create innovations that have a strong Indonesian identity. This is the tangible manifestation of the spirit of cross-sector collaboration that we have built over the past 16 years," he added.

Through the Diplomat Entrepreneur Network (DEN) ecosystem, the winners not only get capital, but also intensive assistance so that their businesses can continue to grow and become part of the lifestyle of the wider community.
