Successful Held in Bandung and Yogyakarta, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Series 2 Produced New Champions

JAKARTA - The new champions were born from the 2025-2026 MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) Series 2 in Bandung and Yogyakarta. SDN 035 Soka (KU-10) and SDN 036 Ujungberung (KU-12) managed to seal the championship title in Bandung. Meanwhile, in Yogyakarta, SDN Nglarang (KU-10) as a debutant team and SD Muhammadiyah Sapen (KU-12) became the champion.

Timo Scheunemann as the head coach of MilkLife said the birth of a new champion was inseparable from the intensive training of the players, both at school and SSB, as well as the motivation to achieve maximum achievement. That way, their quality is growing and the competitive atmosphere throughout the tournament is getting more and more felt.

"We can see that the results of this champion prove that they have become more regular in training, there is a sense of not wanting to lose and getting better results than the previous series. They now also understand the position and ball control better."

"Of course this is a fresh wind in terms of the competition climate. The competition in each series is getting more intense, the champion is not dominated by one team alone," said Timo.

Timo was impressed by the performance of the participants because they had great prospects in terms of quality. This makes him optimistic that the team that will strengthen the All-Stars Bandung in the MLSC All-Stars 2025-2026 will achieve better results than the previous year, which only reached the group stage.

"If you look at the results of the MLSC Bandung Series 2 2025-2026, the All-Star Bandung will be one of those who have the chance to win. However, I have to see first and collect the players we choose, we compare."

"The reason is, they were in the MLSC All-Stars before playing with players who were not good. Later, if they are gathered with players who are pretty good, we will choose again," said Timo.

After the two series of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge were completed in all the cities of the event, the program will be closed with the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars, which brings together the best talent in each city, the result of the curation throughout the tournament and following intensive training at the MilkLife Soccer Extra Training.

There is a difference in the format of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2025-2026 match, namely the previous 7 vs 7 is now 9 vs 9. The MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2025-2026 is scheduled to be held in June 2026 at the Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, Central Java. They will represent their respective cities to compete for the podium.

Meanwhile, assistant coach of the Indonesian Women's National Team U-17 in 2025, Dian Nadia Mutiara, assessed that the MilkLife Soccer Challenge series was very important for the coaching and nurturing of young female footballers starting from KU-8, KU-10, to KU-12. According to him, this tournament initiated by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife has become a talent pool of future Indonesian Women's National Team players.

"From this tournament, potential football seeds have emerged. So, this tournament is very helpful for the coaching staff at the Indonesian National Team to find new potential that will be the regeneration of the next national team players."

"We see that they are very enthusiastic and quite mastered the basic techniques of playing football," said Dian.
