Rizky Ressa's camp denies Denada's claims about communication and living expenses
JAKARTA - Rizky Ressa Rossano's party, through his lawyer, strongly denied the claims made by Denada's camp.
They dismissed the claim that there had been good communication for years between Ressa and the woman believed to be her biological mother.
"What I have to emphasize is... he has inferred that there has been communication for many years in a good way," said Ressa's lawyer, Ronald Armada in South Jakarta, recently.
"He only communicated after this lawsuit," he continued.
According to him, if there was indeed intense communication beforehand, then it was impossible for his client to call Denada with the title "Mbak".
"If there is indeed a communication of affection, how is it possible that Ressa calls him 'Mbak'?" he said.
They also challenged Denada to be able to prove the claim.
"If he has ever stated that there was communication before this lawsuit, show it! Prove it! It's simple," he said.
Apart from the issue of communication, they also denied the claim that Denada had financed Ressa. If it was financed, they questioned why Ressa had dropped out of school.
"He just dropped out of school, not funded," said the lawyer.
Regarding the car that is said to have been purchased, they also have a different version of the story. According to him, Ressa actually had to pay off the car himself.
Ressa's side feels that the claims from the Denada camp are merely a self-defense mechanism to face the lawsuit they have filed.
