Ganjar Pranowo Asks For The SOP For The COVID-19 Self-Isolation Location In Kudus To Be Improved
KUDUS - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo asked the Kudus Regency Government to improve governance or standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the self-isolation room in the former Kudus Akbid Dormitory building. The goal is that there are no family members waiting.
"We ask for the SOP to be tightened even more so that there is no transmission to other people," he said when met on the sidelines of visiting the isolation area for asymptomatic COVID-19 patients in the former Kudus Regency Government Akbid Dormitory accompanied by the Regent of Kudus Hartopo, quoted by Antara, Monday, 31 May.
With the improvement of the SOP, it is hoped that no patient's family will join in the wait so as not to increase the potential for additional COVID-19 cases in Kudus Regency.
Meanwhile, Acting Deputy General Director of Loekmono Hadi Kudus Hospital Wahyu Wijanarko revealed that his party would immediately evaluate service standards in patient isolation rooms, especially those placed in the former Akbid Dormitory.
He admitted that he had received some input from the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, and ensured that the curative treatment at the hospital was also optimized to the maximum.
The community in Kudus Regency is also expected to help health workers who have struggled maximally in handling it by always implementing strict procedures.
"We hope that the community will also optimize prevention, so that it can reduce those who come to the hospital, while those who are already in the hospital are also treated as much as possible," he said.
