One Person Dies, 5 Positive For COVID-19 In West Pasaman
WEST PASAMAN - The West Pasaman COVID-19 Task Force, West Sumatra noted that one COVID-19 patient with the initials Z (60) died. In addition, there were five additional positive cases.
"The patient died at 05.00 WIB while being treated in the ICU isolation room at the West Pasaman Hospital. The patient was a resident of Jorong Sungai Talang, Luhak Nan Duo District," said Spokesperson for the West Pasaman COVID-19 Task Force, Gina Alecia at Simpang Empat, quoted by Antara, Monday, May 31.
He said that with the increase in the number of patients who died, the total number of patients who died reached 57 people.
Meanwhile, there were 960 positive patients after the addition of five positive cases based on information from the Unand Padang laboratory.
Gina said that the five positive people were the woman with the initials DA (37), a resident of Jorong Progress, Koto Panjang, Talamau District, who was a person without symptoms (OTG) and was suspected of being in contact with a positive case.
Then the woman with the initials DDA (39), a resident of Jorong Paraman Benteng, Talamau District, who is OTG and a contact with a positive case, the man with the initials HE (32) a resident of Jorong Taluak Ambun, Lembah Melintang sub-district who is OTG and is suspected of having contact with a positive case
Furthermore, the woman initials RR (37), a resident of Jorong Pasar III, Sungai Beremas Sub-district, is a close contact with the previous positive confirmation case and the male initial K (61) is a resident of Jambak Line IX, Pasaman District, who is a suspected COVID-19 patient.
"For now, the patient has received treatment in the isolation room of the West Pasaman Hospital and four other patients are undergoing medical examinations at the West Pasaman Hospital and the Ibnu Sina Simpang Empat Hospital.
His party is currently carrying out fast steps for the tracing process to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19 in West Pasaman.
"Let's obey the health protocols with the 5 M, namely diligently washing hands with running water, always wearing masks correctly, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds, and reducing mobility," he said.
