The incident, which occurred on Saturday, January 31, forced the band known for its power pop music to cancel their stage agenda in Jakarta.

"We inform that the Percuma Meracau Vol 2 event scheduled to take place tonight at Coma Jakarta has been canceled," wrote Skandal, quoting a statement on Instagram, Sunday, February 1.

"The cancellation was made because on the way from Yogyakarta to Jakarta we had a single accident on the toll road," he continued.

Although the incident was quite shocking, Skandal ensured that there were no casualties in the incident. All personnel and support crew were declared conscious and had received the necessary treatment.

Currently, the main priority of the music group is to return to their home city to ensure that the physical and mental conditions of each member remain stable.

"All crew and personnel are safe. Information regarding the next agenda will be conveyed through our official channels," he added.

Although it did not detail the material damage suffered, the band expressed its deep apologies to the event organizers and fans in Jakarta who had been waiting for their presence.

The decision to return to Yogyakarta was made so that they could return to their activities to the fullest in the future.
