BMKG Weather Forecast Today: Most of Indonesia Light Rain

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most areas of Indonesia will potentially rain with light intensity on Sunday.

Based on the BMKG official website, in Jakarta, Sunday, said that light-intensity rain could potentially rain on the cities of Jakarta, Bandar Lampung, Bandung, Banjarbaru, Denpasar, Gorontalo, and Jambi.

Light rain is also predicted to occur in Jayawijaya City, Kendari, Makassar, Mataram, Merauke, Palangka Raya, and Palembang.

Likewise, the weather in several other cities, namely Pangkal Pinang, Pekanbaru, Pontianak, Semarang, Serang, Surabaya, Tanjung Pinang, and Tanjung Selor, is predicted to rain lightly.

Meanwhile, cloudy weather is predicted in Ambon City, Banda Aceh, Bengkulu, Jayapura, Manado, Manokwari, Medan, Padang, Palu, Samarinda, Sofifi, and Sorong.

BMKG asked the public to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning that could potentially occur in Kupang City.

The weather in Mamuju and Nabire City is predicted to be sunny today.

Moderate intensity rain is predicted to hit DI Yogyakarta.
