Nostalgia and New Energy in the Padi Reborn Concert

JAKARTA - Appearing stunning, Padi Reborn successfully brings nostalgia as well as new energy when performing in the Dua Delapan concert at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday (31/1) evening.

The band, which is led by Fadly, Piyu, Ari, Yoyo, and Rindra, opened the performance with "Prolog" before bringing thousands of spectators into the iconic songs such as "Imagine", "Waiting for an Answer", to "The Entertainer".

Throughout the night, the mass choir of Sobat Padi accompanied songs that have become the soundtrack to the lives of many people.

The atmosphere got warmer when Fadly greeted the audience with gratitude.

"Rice friends from all over Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, thank you for being here tonight, I hope tonight you will all be entertained," said the vocalist, who was immediately greeted with cheers.

Songs like "Lingkaran", "Semua Tak Sama", "Seperti Kekasihku", and "Ternyata Cinta" become emotional moments, presenting a flashback to the glory of Padi Reborn in its golden era.

The entire concert arena was like a mass karaoke singing all-time hits from the band from Surabaya who were celebrating 28 years of their career.

One of the main highlights of the night was Padi Reborn's collaboration with Fanny Soegi.

Fanny's presence gave a new color when performing "Blue Sky", which felt more intimate and romantic.

Fanny then continued her solo performance through "Asmalibrasi", before Padi Reborn again hit the stage with "Beginikah Rasanya".

This concert also became an introduction to the latest material from the album Dua Delapan, through the songs "Ego" and "Haru Biru", which shows Padi Reborn's musical exploration without leaving their signature.

Visually, the Dua Delapan concert was stunning with a 360-degree stage concept that allowed the audience to enjoy the band's performance from all sides. The dynamic hydraulic system combined with spectacular lighting creates an immersive experience, strengthens the emotions of each song and makes the night unforgettable.

Working with Northstar Entertainment, Megapro Communications, and Mata Elang Production, the Padi Reborn Dua Delapan concert was held to mark the 28 years of the Surabaya-based band's journey, which was formed in 1997, and the band's return after a vacuum of about eight years and the launch of the band's eighth studio album titled 28.
