MADIUN - In anticipation of running out due to a surge in demand, PT Kereta Api Indonesia Persero (KAI) Regional Operation 7 Madiun, East Java, reminded the public to immediately book train tickets for the 2026 Lebaran Transportation period.

The Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 7 Madiun Tohari in Madiun, Saturday, said that KAI Daop 7 Madiun had officially opened ticket reservations for the 2026 Lebaran Transportation train for H-45 before departure, starting from January 25, 2026.

The public is urged to immediately plan their trip so that they do not run out of tickets on their favorite homecoming dates.

"The Lebaran holiday period is a period with very high community mobility. The demand for train tickets has increased significantly so that prospective passengers need to be more careful and agile in making reservations," said Tohari, quoting ANTARA, Saturday, January 31.

For information, ticket reservations for the 2026 Lebaran period have been opened since January 25, 2026 for departure on March 12, 2026 (H-10) and onwards.

Based on the schedule, today, Saturday (31/1/2026), the public can make a ticket reservation for departure on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

In order to increase the public's opportunity to get the desired train tickets, KAI Daop 7 Madiun distributed a number of practical instructions.

Among them, determine the schedule early, stable internet connection, check the availability periodically, and use the Connecting Train feature in the Access by KAI application.

"The more diligent you are to check periodically and refresh the application, the greater the chance of getting a ticket because a canceled ticket can appear at any time in the system," said Tohari.

KAI emphasizes that the public should only purchase tickets through official channels to avoid the risk of fraud or loss by paying extra tickets.

The official channels include: the Access by KAI application, the official booking.kai.id website, and official partners who have cooperated with KAI.
