Thailand Masters 2026: Amallia/Fadia Guard the Women's Doubles Hope
JAKARTA - The pair of Amallia Cahya Pratiwi/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti qualified for the final round of the 2026 Thailand Masters to keep the Indonesian women's doubles hopes alive in the tournament.
The eighth seed continued his journey to the final after fighting three games to beat Kaho Osawa/Mai Tanabe of Japan with a final score of 21-23, 21-12, and 21-15 on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
"Entering the final, of course, is happy. This is my second [tournament] match with Fadia and I can get to the final, but this is not over, there is still a final. We have to play better," said Amallia.
This is the third tournament that Amallia has played in this year's calendar. He previously played in the India Open with Lanny Tria Mayasari and then in the Indonesia Masters with Fadia.
When appearing in India, Amallia/Lanny's journey immediately crashed in the first round, while when appearing at the Indonesia Masters, Amallia/Fadia could reach the quarterfinals.
In the final round, Amalllia/Fadia will face Bao Li Jing/Li Yi Jing. The pair from China sent Indonesian representative Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari home with a final score of 11-21, 21-16, 15-21.
"Tomorrow we must be more prepared to be tired again and the focus must be more resistant because the opponent is China, their playing pattern is more or less the same as us so we just have to be more confident," said Fadia.
In addition, the final round tickets were also obtained by the men's doubles Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana. The first seeded team eliminated their compatriots, namely the pair Muhammad Rian Ardianto/Rahmat Hidayat.
In the final round, Leo/Bagas was already waiting for Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin so that the Indonesian men's doubles were sure to secure one title from this tournament.
