Prime Kumite Championship 3 Officially Held in Jakarta, Featuring 13 Professional Fights
JAKARTA - The Prime Kumite Championship 3 event was officially held at GOR Soemantri Brodjonegoro, Jakarta, on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
This combat sport championship presents a total of 13 matches involving 26 professional warriors from various martial arts backgrounds.
Prime Kumite Championship CEO, Umar Hasan, said the holding of Prime Kumite Championship 3 is part of the promoter's commitment to presenting quality professional martial arts competitions in Indonesia.
"A total of 26 warriors will fight in 13 fights at the Prime Kumite Championship 3. We are preparing this event with professional standards so that it can be enjoyed by lovers of combat sports in the country," said Umar Hasan in a press conference in Jakarta, Friday, January 30.
As the climax, the main event will bring Deni Arif against Alan Lolo. In addition, a number of other fights will also enliven the championship, including the duel between Deni Daffa and Pahala Sitanggang, Vincent Madjid against the Open Weight Champion Harianja Pukmes, and Rama Supandi against Adiputra.
In the co-main event, the duel between Randi Fabian and Eko Roni was still held despite the change in the athlete line-up.
Randi Fabian was appointed as a replacement for Aziz Calim who had to resign due to health conditions.
According to Umar, the Prime Kumite Championship was originally designed as a professional karate event, but has evolved into a cross-martial arts venue for the advancement of the national combat sport industry.
"If we only limit ourselves to karate, of course the development of combat sports will not be optimal. Therefore, the Prime Kumite Championship opens up space for various martial arts," said Umar.
He added that all the Prime Kumite Championship 3 was under the supervision of the Indonesian Martial Arts Sports Committee (KOBI), including the implementation of match regulations and referee equipment.
The warriors who appear in this event are said to come from the ranks of accomplished athletes, ranging from SEA Games medalists, PON, to professional fighters from various promoters such as One Pride, Brave FC, and One Championship.
"This event purely showcases professional athletes. There are no influencers or artists. Our focus is on the quality of the match and the credibility of the championship," said Umar.
Despite the change in the fight lineup, Umar ensured that all preparations for the Prime Kumite Championship 3 had been carried out thoroughly.
"Although there are athletes who have withdrawn due to illness, the implementation of the Prime Kumite Championship 3 is still according to plan. Show must go on," he said.
Support for the implementation of this event also came from KOBI.
KOBI representative, Wiwid Sanshou, as Senior Referee Jury, emphasized his party's commitment to supporting various combat sport championships in Indonesia.
"KOBI supports all combat sports with clear standards for regulating matches, as applied to the first, second, and third Prime Kumite Championships," said Wiwid.
He hopes that the Prime Kumite Championship 3 can run safely and successfully, as well as being the opening of the national combat sport calendar in early 2026.
"Hopefully this event will run smoothly and the warriors can show the best fight for the audience," he concluded.
