Ahead of Launch, Vivo V70 & V70 Elite Specs and Price Revealed

Jakarta - Vivo officially confirmed the specifications and price range of the Vivo V70 series ahead of its launch. This series consists of the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite, which for the first time presents an Elite variant in the V-series line.

Based on the official list on the Vivo website, the Vivo V70 Elite will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the regular Vivo V70 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Both are equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with one of the V70 Elite configurations offering 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory.

In terms of screen, the Vivo V70 series carries a 6.59-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1,500, supports a refresh rate of 120Hz, HDR, and a peak brightness level of up to 5,000 nits. This phone also uses an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame and has IP68 and IP69 certifications, which indicate high resistance to dust and water.

Other supporting features include an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor, X-axis linear motor, and 4D vibration system aimed at improving the gaming experience.

For the photography sector, Vivo continues to collaborate with Zeiss. This series is equipped with three rear cameras, consisting of a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP Zeiss night telephoto camera, and an ultrawide camera. The front camera uses a 50 MP sensor.

The device also supports 4K 60 fps and 4K HDR video recording, as well as a number of AI-based photography features such as AI Petal Shower, AI Magic Weather, and the special AI Holi Portrait feature for India.

The power of the phone is supported by a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W cable fast charging support and multi-scenario bypass charging features. The Vivo V70 series runs Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 interface, and is promised to receive operating system updates for up to four years and security updates for up to six years.

Although the official launch date has not been announced, the availability of the active AI Holi Portrait feature from February 19 to March 15 indicates that this phone will be launched within that time frame. For the price, the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite are guaranteed to be priced under Rs 50,000 or around Rp8.5 million. In addition to these two models, Vivo also prepares another variant, namely the Vivo V70 FE.
