Speed up Delivery to Consumers, Geely Distributes 1,000 Units of EX2 to Dealer Network

JAKARTA - Geely Auto Indonesia moved quickly by starting the distribution of the first batch of Geely EX2 from the assembly facility of PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) in Purwakarta to the official dealer network throughout Indonesia. This car received a positive response by recording more than 2,000 reservations.

Geely Auto Indonesia CEO, Wu Chuxing, said the Geely EX2 received a very positive response thanks to its competitive price and innovative features in its class.

"The distribution of the first 1,000 units of the Geely EX2 includes delivery to 40 dealers on the island of Java and outside Java. Delivery to consumers will begin at the end of January. Our goal is to accelerate local production to meet the growing demand," he said, in an official statement received, Friday, January 30.

Geely has set a sustainable localization strategy to strengthen the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia. For the Geely EX2 model, the company has partnered with local manufacturers to supply battery cells and a Domestic Content Level (TKDN) of 46.5 percent.

This investment reflects Geely's commitment to technology transfer, increasing local manufacturing competence, and national automotive industry competitiveness in line with the government's target for the electric vehicle sector.

Feature Adaptation for the Indonesian Market Geely EX2 is optimized for various road conditions in Indonesia. The chassis tuning is calibrated according to the characteristics of local roads, ranging from bumpy to potholed roads. This provides maximum comfort and stability when driving.

Geely also developed a Blind Spot Detection (BSD) system specifically designed to overcome the density of motorcycles in Indonesian traffic. Meanwhile, the 540-degree transparent chassis view feature helps drivers navigate

crowded and narrow streets. In terms of exterior appearance, Geely presents a pink color inspired by Pink Beach in Lombok. This color is in line with the style, personality, and fashion trends of the younger generation.

During the launch period, Geely offers special prices for the Geely EX2. The Pro variant is priced at Rp229.9 million and the Max variant at Rp259.9 million. Each unit is accompanied by exclusive benefits in the form of free home charger and portable charger, as well as 3-year Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) without kilometer restrictions. These special prices and benefits are valid until February 15, 2026, with applicable terms and conditions.
