Police Arrest Perpetrators of Sodomy of 10 Children in Cianjur
Cianjur - The Cianjur Police, West Java, arrested the perpetrator of sodomy of a minor MRR (15) resident of Sukaluyu District who committed his depraved act against 10 children who have known the perpetrator for a long time.
Cianjur Police Chief AKBP Alexander Yurikho Hadi said the perpetrator's depraved act was revealed after one of the victims reported pain in his buttocks while defecating on his parents.
"The victim's parents reported the perpetrator, who is still in the same village and is well known to the children, to the police, the officers immediately arrested the perpetrator, who is still a teenager," he said as quoted by ANTARA.
In front of the officers, the perpetrator admitted that he had committed his depraved act for the past six months by promising to sacrifice from giving doves and teaching their doves to be more tame.
In fact, the perpetrator threatened each victim if they did not serve his deviant act, where the number of victims reached 10 people who were sitting on the benches of elementary and junior high schools, where his depraved act was carried out many times against a number of victims.
"The victims consist of 3 girls and 7 boys, on average still sitting on the desks of elementary and junior high schools, even the perpetrators are still students of junior high schools," he said.
The suspect who is in conflict with the law is charged with Articles 76D and 76E of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection, and/or Article 6 of Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Sexual Violence Crimes, and/or Article 415 letter b or Article 473 Paragraph 3 letter a of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.
The suspect is threatened with a maximum of 12 years in prison, where at this time his party is still developing the case because it is suspected that there are still other victims, so his party asks the family to immediately make an official report.
"It is recorded that some of the victims are girls, so the perpetrators, in addition to sodomy, also harass and even have sex with their victims," said the Police Chief.
