"I'm here for the art. I'm not here to talk politics. This is not an area I ever imagined. This is not the reason I am who I am," Sydney Sweeney said in an interview with US Cosmopolitan.

Furthermore, he explained why he became an actor because he had to understand others and love each other.

"I became an actor because I love stories. I don't believe in hate in anything. I believe we all have to love each other and respect and understand each other," said Sydney Sweeney.

"I'm always here to make art so this is not a conversation I want to have. And I think because of that, people will use me as a target. I have no control over that," Sweeney explained.

On the other hand, Sweeney has just launched her own bra brand called SYRN along with an exclusive photoshoot with her products.

"People will say 'Oh, she's making this for men' but I feel 'What's better than feeling like you own your body and doing it for yourself?' I want to be their choice," Sweeney explained.

"Yes, this is my way of claiming my body and my narrative and using it to support other women," she said.
