Status of the Former Fuji Admin Case Officially Increased, Police Check Witnesses
JAKARTA - Fujianti Utami Putri's struggle in seeking justice has now reached a turning point. The case of alleged embezzlement of funds by her former administrator has officially risen from an investigation to an investigation stage.
Fuji's lawyer, Sandy Arifin, confirmed this positive development.
"Alhamdulillah, the investigation process has been completed... we just got the information today that the status has been raised to an investigation," he said at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, January 29.
The increase in this status indicates that the police have found elements of a criminal act in the report made by Fuji. The legal process will also run more intensively.
Fuji himself feels very happy and relieved with this progress. "I'm pretty happy because the progress is faster and I want this to be finished soon," he said.
As a follow-up, Fuji has undergone additional examinations and answered around 20 questions from investigators. The questions are more detailed about the losses he has suffered.
The next step that will be taken by investigators is to examine additional witnesses from the Fuji side.
"Maybe one or two days from now, witnesses from our side will be examined further," said Sandy.
There will be two more witnesses who will be questioned. Both are people who have worked with Fuji.
Fuji is also scheduled to return to the police station next week. His presence is to sign the Investigation Report (BAP).
