Reasons For The Police To Issue Licensing For League 1 And League 2
JAKARTA - The Indonesian National Police has officially given permission for the crowd to organize the Indonesian Football League 1 and 2. The decision to grant the permit is based on discussions with PSSI, PT LIB, Ministry of Health, Task Force, and BNPB.
"As a result of our discussion, we have decided to give permission for crowds with a note that we continue to implement strict health protocols," said National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to reporters, Monday, May 31.
Later, the National Police will continue to monitor the process of League 1 and 2. If any violations are found later, it will be considered to revoke the crowd permit.
"We will evaluate the activity so that violations of the prokes will affect the process of implementing the league," said Sigit.
In addition, Sigit also briefly mentioned one of the reasons for granting crowd permits. Because, at the time of organizing the Menpora Cup tournament, the implementation of the prokes went well. However, there are still some violations that occur.
"Some time ago the implementation was quite good, but what we regret is that there is still a procession at the end of the match which has the potential to cause a COVID-19 cluster," said Sigit.
On the other hand, Sigit has not been able to confirm the rules regarding the presence or absence of spectators in the match. The reason is that this will only be confirmed depending on the number of additional COVID-19 cases.
"Starting in July. We will see the number of COVID-19. Developments so far because we have just faced a backflow, so of course we will monitor it every day. If the numbers can be controlled, of course we will see if there is any leniency, but of course we will stick with the progress. take a look," he said.
