184 Kaltara Police Personnel Receive Satyalancana

TANJUNG SELOR - The award of the Satyalancana Service Honor Badge in the North Kalimantan Police (Kaltara) is not positioned as an annual ceremonial agenda.

Wakapolda Kaltara Brigjen Andries Hermanto emphasized that the award was a reflection of the integrity and track record of the personnel's service during their service.

"The Satyalancana of Dedication is a sign of state honor given by the President of the Republic of Indonesia to members of the National Police based on the Regulation of the National Police Chief Number 4 of 2012," said Brigadier General Andrias at the Rupatama Bhara Daksa building, Mapolda Kaltara, Thursday, January 29.

"This award is given not only because of the length of service, but because of the consistency of maintaining professional ethics, discipline, and loyalty without a record of violations," he continued.

A total of 184 joint personnel of the Satker and Satwil units of the Kaltara Police received the award, with 11 personnel for 32 years of service, 56 personnel for 24 years, 40 personnel for 16 years, and 77 personnel for 8 years.

"A total of 45 personnel serving in the scope of the Police Headquarters received direct vaccination, while personnel outside Tanjung Selor attended the ceremony at their respective mako," he explained.

The Regional Police Chief explained that this award should be interpreted as a reminder for all members of the National Police that dedication is not judged by how long they have served, but how to maintain the prestige of the institution in every task.

"I hope this award will be a stimulus for other personnel to continue to work professionally in protecting, caring for, and serving the community, while maintaining public confidence in the National Police," he said.
