"Furthermore, discussions related to the allocation of the disbursement of regional budgets that have been approved by President Prabowo, as well as the process of rehabilitation and reconstruction of public infrastructure that is gradually recovering," wrote the account.
Previously, the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian as the Head of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Post-disaster Sumatra appreciated the construction of temporary housing (huntara) in North Aceh Regency.
"As many as 4,000 (huntara) in North Aceh, hopefully this will help especially those who live in these tents, can enter into temporary housing," said the Minister of Home Affairs in his statement in Jakarta, Friday (23/1).
Tito said North Aceh was one of the areas with a fairly heavy impact of disasters. Many residents' houses were damaged to the ground, while some people still survived in evacuation tents.
Tito added that after the huntara period, the government would prepare permanent housing (huntap), especially for residents whose houses were severely damaged or lost.
The search will be prepared through the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning (PKP), BNPB, and the mutual cooperation of various parties, including the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation which helped the construction of 2,603 affordable housing units together with the Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning Maruarar Sirait.
He explained that houses with minor damage would receive Rp15 million in assistance, moderate damage Rp30 million, and severe damage Rp60 million. The funds are hoped to be immediately disbursed after the data is declared valid and verified by BNPB.
Tito also asked the parakeuchik (village head) to register residents who need assistance to the Ministry of Social Affairs, such as food assistance of Rp. 15 thousand per person per day, household furniture assistance (meubel) of Rp. 3 million, and economic recovery assistance of Rp. 5 million.
Tito again emphasized that the acceleration of assistance depends on the accuracy of data. Assistance must be given to the right party so as not to cause legal problems.
The sooner the data is submitted, the sooner the affected residents will be helped and do not need to continue to live in evacuation tents. The government, he said, will work hard to help affected people, including in the Langkahan area.
