Minyak Medco Production in 2025 to Reach 156,000 BOEPD

PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) reported that the production of oil and natural gas (oil and gas) throughout 2025 was recorded at 156,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD).

"Production in 2025 was recorded at 156 mboepd, within the guidance range, supported by new projects in Block B Natuna as well as an increase in operating ownership in the PSC Corridor to 70 percent," said MedcoEnergi CEO Roberto Lorato in a statement to the media, Thursday, January 29.

Meanwhile, for 2026, the company targets production of 165,000 to 170,000 barrels per day which is the highest production level in the company's history.

Roberto continued, in the fourth quarter of 2025, Medco's oil and gas production reached its peak of 178,000 boepd and an average of 176,000 boepd during the quarter.

"Entering 2026, we remain focused on continuing to create sustainable value for stakeholders through growth, operational excellence, and discipline in capital management," he explained.

Medco also recorded 2P reserves at the end of 2025 increased to 564 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBOE). This amount increased compared to 2024 by 493 MMBOE.

The 2P Reserve Age Index increased to 11.4 years compared to 2024 which was recorded at 10.4 years.

Then the Contingent Resources 2C at the end of 2025 also increased to approximately 1 billion boe from 2024 of 896 MMBOE.
