Grab Introduces Coffeenatics at WEF Davos 2026, Strengthening the Role of MSMEs in an Inclusive Digital Economy

JAKARTA - The Grab technology platform brings Medan-based artisan coffee UMKM, Coffeenatics, to perform at the Indonesian Pavilion at the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

This initiative reflects efforts to strengthen the role of MSMEs as an inclusive and sustainable pillar of the digital economy.

Coffeenatics' participation is part of Grab's strategy to promote the potential of Indonesian MSMEs to the global level.

This step is in line with the government's agenda in encouraging the digital economy and strengthening social protection for business actors.

Grab emphasized its commitment to invest IDR 100 billion through the Grab for Indonesia program which is designed in three main pillars, namely social protection for partners, performance incentives, and capacity building through digital training and education.

As an artisan coffee UMKM actor, Coffeenatics develops a business model based on partnerships with local farmers in Sumatra and Bali.

In addition to expanding the market to Singapore, the company is also actively building a sustainable business ecosystem through education and human resource development.

Grab Indonesia CEO Neneng Goenadi said that Grab's presence at WEF Davos 2026 emphasized the importance of collaboration between technology, government, and business actors in promoting an inclusive digital economy.

Grab also participated in a panel discussion that discussed the role of digital infrastructure and ecosystem security.

To date, more than 200,000 MSMEs have been digitized in the Grab ecosystem.

Cumulatively, digitalization has contributed to creating around 4.6 million jobs since 2018.

Through participation in global forums such as WEF Davos 2026, Grab seeks to expand local MSMEs' access to international markets while strengthening the foundation for more equitable national economic growth.
