PB Djarum Disbursed Rp512.7 Million for the Appreciation of Outstanding Athletes
JAKARTA - The Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation has disbursed Rp512.7 million to appreciate PB Djarum athletes who have achieved achievements at the national and international levels in the 2025 calendar.
The award was given at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. The award recipients consist of champions of the National Championships (National Championships), residents ranked 15 and 39 in the BWF ranking at the end of last year, outstanding U-17 and U-19 athletes, and the best young PB Djarum athletes.
PB Djarum Team Manager, Fung Permadi, assessed that the brilliant achievements of the young athletes were a tangible proof of the success of regeneration at the club.
"Seeing the courage and performance of young athletes on the field, I am increasingly confident with the coaching path we are running."
"They are not only ready to face the domestic tournament, but also have the capacity to compete at the world level," said Fung.
In the calendar last year, PB Djarum athletes were recorded as having achieved a number of proud achievements. One of them is the female cadet doubles Salsabila Zahra Aulia/Adelia Nirul who won the Kejurnas.
In the same tournament, Muhammad Nasrullah Al-Habsyi appeared as the champion of the male cadet singles and Ikhsan Lintang Pramudya/Salsabila Zahra Aulia successfully became the mixed cadet doubles champion.
The final of fellow PB Djarum athletes also occurred in the mixed doubles sector between Bobby Setiabudi/Melati Daeva Oktavianti and Daniel Edgar Marvino/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.
"After last year, PB Djarum managed to become the champion of the 2024 PBSI National Championships in doubles and singles, this year (2025) we again recorded a quite impressive achievement in singles," said Fung.
Salsabila was also appointed as a young athlete of PB Djarum with achievements in 2025. He is an athlete from PB Djarum's partner club, namely the Istimewa Badminton Club (IBC) Yogyakarta.
PB Djarum Women's Doubles Coach Rudy Gunawan assessed that the achievements of Salsabila and other doubles athletes were inseparable from the continuous training process and the strong commitment of the athletes.
"This process is not instant, but the results are starting to be seen. Our job as coaches is to maintain consistency and prepare athletes to be ready to compete at a higher level," he said.
Through the 2025 outstanding athlete award, PB Djarum emphasized its commitment to continue to produce highly competitive athletes and strengthen its contribution to the development of national badminton.
PB Djarum Single Coordinator, Leonard Holvy De Pauw, said that they saw the quality of PB Djarum athletes in national and international tournaments increase sharply.
"We want them to be champions on the field through achievements and champions off the field through discipline, commitment, and high sportsmanship," said Holvy.
