The Poweroutage website shows the number of homes in the US that have experienced power outages due to the snowstorm currently reaching around 400,000 homes, the majority of which are in the southern region.
According to ABC, the snowstorm that hit the US has affected more than 200 million people. In addition, thousands of flights across the region have also been canceled and slippery road conditions in the US have added to the number of accidents.
