BLITAR - The Blitar City Police, East Java, explained the main motive for NV's son-in-law (21) who dared to kill his father-in-law SP (70) in Blitar Regency, because he was hurt.
"The motive is that the suspect's in-laws or victims have experienced pain. Often the victim insults the suspect for reasons they don't like their daughter-in-law," said Blitar City Police Chief AKBP Kalfaris Triwijaya Lalo as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 27.
Before the incident on Monday (26/1) evening, a quarrel occurred between the two at home, namely Gandekan Village, Wonodadi District, Blitar Regency. Even the suspect, who is a resident of Sidang Jaya District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, was also expelled by the victim.
At that time, the victim took a saw and waved it at the suspect, shouting for him to ask to leave the house.
The suspect immediately pushed the body of the victim SP (70) into the victim's room and immediately fell on the bed.
"When the victim fell, the suspect strangled the victim's neck with his hands and also a pillow. At that time, the suspect saw a black scissors on the victim's bed and stabbed," he said.
The victim was stabbed three times in the right neck and then also in the right abdomen twice.
The victim, he said, was still struggling. The suspect then stabbed again once in the right arm.
After seeing the victim was helpless, the suspect and his son, who was about one year old, left the victim to escape. At the time of the incident, the husband was not at home.
The victim's son only found out that his mother had been injured when he got home. He also reported this incident to the police. At that time, his wife was also not at home.
The police found the suspect fleeing and staying at a hotel in Tulungagung. Hours after the incident, the daughter-in-law was arrested.
The Police Chief added that from the results of the autopsy, it was also revealed that there were wounds when the victim was still alive, which then had blood seepage in the front neck muscle in accordance with the bruises and also the abrasions on the front neck.
Then there were two stab wounds in the right chest and only limited to muscle or did not penetrate the internal organs.
Then there was a stab wound on the right neck as much as the muscle and did not penetrate the vital organs in the neck.
Meanwhile, until now the victim's son-in-law is still being held at the Blitar City Police. He was arrested to answer for his actions, killing his own mother-in-law.
