BPH Migas Reports Consumption of Pertalite & Solar Throughout 2025 Below Quota

JAKARTA - The Oil and Natural Gas Upstream Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) revealed that the realization of the distribution of Certain Fuel Type (JBT) and Special Fuel Type for Assignment (JBKP) throughout 2025 is lower than the quota set.

In his report to Commission XII of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Head of BPH Migas Wahyudi Anas detailed the realization of the distribution of Pertalite was recorded at only 28,063,429 kiloliters (KL) or 89.86 percent. For information, the quota set for 2025 is ebesar (KL).

On the other hand, the distribution of solar was recorded at KL or 97.4 percent. Meanwhile, the quota set for 2025 is 18,885,000 kilo liters. The realization of the distribution of kerosene was recorded at 507,944 kilo liters or 96.75 percent of the total APBN quota of 525,000 KL.

"In the distribution of the realization from January to December, the BPH migas has supervised the distribution well, everything is smooth, and there is a saving of subsidized fuel and state compensation in 2025 of Rp. 4.982 trillion," said Anas in a Hearing with Commission XII of the DPR RI, Tuesday, January 27.

Anas added that with consumption below the quota, Indonesia managed to cut solar oil consumption by 473,634 KL or equivalent to Rp. 2.11 trillion.

Meanwhile, the savings from kerosene were recorded at 17,056 KL with a value of Rp0.122 trillion.

Then for Pertalite, it was recorded to have saved 3,166,558 KL or the equivalent of Rp. 2.75 trillion.

"All state compensation has been fulfilled and smooth," said Wahyudi.
