KAI Starts Selling Tickets for Eid 2026, H-7 Has Sold 16,524 Tickets
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI has started selling regular train tickets for the 2026 Eid Transportation period through the H-45 booking scheme according to the departure calendar.
Ticket sales are carried out gradually every day, following the departure date which continues to shift according to the H-45 provisions. Until January 27, 2026 at 10.00 WIB, KAI has recorded sales of 16,524 tickets for the H-7 Lebaran departure schedule or March 13, 2026.
KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba said that the number is expected to continue to increase as ticket sales are still ongoing.
"The H-45 ticket sales scheme provides certainty for customers in planning travel plans, as well as helping KAI manage passenger flows to be more orderly and even during the Lebaran period," Anne said in an official statement, Tuesday, January 27.
Anne added that the sale of Lebaran train tickets will continue to be opened gradually until early April 2026. At the same time, KAI also periodically evaluates the service needs and will announce the operation of additional trains according to the dynamics of public demand.
KAI also appeals to the public to purchase tickets only through official channels, such as the Access by KAI application, the booking.kai.id website, and official ticket sales partners, to ensure that transactions run safely and in accordance with regulations.
"By booking tickets early according to the H-45 calendar, customers can prepare for the Lebaran trip more comfortably and planned," concluded Anne.
