Apple Is the World's Most Admired Company for the 19th Consecutive Year
Apple has again maintained its position at the top of Fortune's annual list of the World's Most Admired Companies, occupying the top spot for 19 consecutive years.
The annual list compiled by Fortune in collaboration with Korn Ferry assesses companies based on the opinions of executives, directors, and analysts. Apple managed to remain in the top spot despite facing stiff competition from other tech giants, including Microsoft in second place, Amazon third, newcomer Nvidia fourth, and Alphabet in eighth place.
According to Fortune, despite concerns about AI, respondents still gave Apple high marks for its "smart talent, capital, and supply chain management" equivalent to its handling of innovation.
Apple not only occupies the top position overall, but also ranks first in the Computer industry category, which it has maintained for 16 of the last 17 years.
