Moment of TNI Soldiers and Aceh Community Cleaning Lumpur

ACEH - TNI soldiers are still working to continue to help post-disaster recovery in Aceh Province with the local community. From a video received by the VOI editorial board, Monday, January 26, it can be seen that TNI soldiers together with the community are cleaning the mud that has started to harden in Bireun Regency.

They are cleaning at SMK Negeri 1 Peusangan which is located in Gampong Raya Dagang, Peusangan District. Using hoes, shovels, and boots, TNI soldiers worked together to clean the school yard and classrooms.

Although some areas have been cleaned up, piles of mud are still visible in some corners of the school, indicating the impact of the flood was quite severe. Still in Peusangan District, the TNI also helped clean the residents' houses. The mud that settled on the floor and household furniture was cleaned manually so that the house could be occupied again properly. Similar activities were carried out in Aceh Tamiang Regency.

At SD Negeri Raja, Raja Village, Bendahara District, TNI personnel and residents collaborated to clean up the remnants of mud that had accumulated in the school yard and classrooms. Cleaning was also carried out at the Datok Penghulu Office Warehouse, Seuneubok Village.

The dried mud is still visible in some areas of the office and is being cleaned gradually. At SMAN 1 Bendahara, Seuneubok Village, the mud is still piling up at the front of the school, making it difficult to access. The large amount of mud material makes the cleaning process assisted by the use of heavy equipment so that the path to the school is reopened.

Meanwhile, in Tetingi Village, Pantan Cuaca District, Gayo Lues Regency, TNI soldiers together with residents cleaned houses that were still filled with dry mud. Cleaning was also carried out at shops on Jalan Meunasah Raya, Meurah Dua District, Pidie Jaya Regency.

The shop's showcase and floor are still covered in mud, but TNI soldiers are helping to clean it. A number of residents seem to be starting to be active around the location even though the condition has not fully recovered.
