Hitting A Parking Attendant At Indomaret Kuta With A Baseball Bat, This Man Was Arrested

DENPASAR - A man with the initials APP (41) was arrested by the police for molesting a parking attendant at the Indomaret minimarket in Kuta, Bali, using a baseball bat or stick.

"Besides hitting him with a baseball bat, the perpetrator also admitted to hitting him once with his hands and hitting the complainant (victim)," said Kuta Police Chief Kompol I Nyoman Gatra, Monday, May 31.

The assault took place in the parking lot of a mini market on Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai Kuta, Monday, May 17.

The victim, I Putu Eka Darsana, saw two people on motorbikes shopping at a mini market. After shopping, the parking attendant tries to regulate traffic.

For some reason the victim's nephew also spoke to the two people to be careful. There was a fight between the nephew of the victim and the perpetrator.

The victim was able to intervene until finally the two people on motorbikes left the location.

But the perpetrator who had an argument with the parking attendant's nephew returned to the location and asked for a fight.

The perpetrator then hit the victim with his bare hands. After that, the perpetrator used a baseball bat to hit the victim again.

"As a result of being hit with bare hands and baseball bats, the complainant experienced pain and swelling in his left jaw, his left hand was swollen, and his left index finger was scratched and hurt," added Gatra.

The victim reported to the police for being mistreated. The police chased the perpetrators and made arrests.

The perpetrator when questioned admitted his actions. He got emotional.

"Because the parking attendant seemed to want to fight back, then the perpetrator pointed his baseball bat three times at the complainant and the reporter blocked it with his left hand," said Kompol Gatra.
