Commission III of the DPR approves Adies Kadir as a candidate for MK Judge

Commission III of the House of Representatives has approved Adies Kadir as a Constitutional Court (MK) Judge from the proposal of the Indonesian House of Representatives. It is known that Adies Kadir is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives who comes from the Golkar Party Faction.

This agreement was the result of the conclusion of the DPR RI Commission III meeting regarding the discussion of the proposed replacement of constitutional judges at the Constitutional Court which came from the proposal of the DPR RI institution during the 2025/2026 session, which was held at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, January 26. This meeting was directly led by the Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI, Habiburokhman.

Initially, Adies Kadir gave an explanation regarding the candidate for the Constitutional Court. Then, each faction gave its opinion on Adies Kadir as a candidate for the Constitutional Court from the proposal of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

After listening to the views of the faction, Habiburokhman then asked the meeting forum whether Adies Kadir could be agreed to as a Constitutional Court Judge.

"Commission III of the DPR RI approves Adies Kadir as a Constitutional Judge at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia, which comes from the proposal of the DPR RI institution and can then be processed in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations," asked Habiburokhman.

"Agree?" asked Habiburokhman.

"Agree," replied the meeting participant in Commission III of the DPR.
