Cha Joo Young Vacated Activities After Undergoing Surgery

JAKARTA - Actress Cha Joo Young canceled all activities after undergoing surgery on her nose. As a result, the agency stated that she would be on hiatus for a while.

On Sunday, January 25, Ghost Studio, Cha Joo Young's agency, stated, "Due to health reasons, actress Cha Joo Young cannot carry out her schedule or some activities."

The agency explained that the actress had a long nosebleed, so the star of The Glory underwent an examination.

"Based on the doctor's opinion, he (Cha Joo Young) will undergo ENT surgery which cannot be postponed. He is in a recovery period where his progress must be observed," Ghost Studio explained.

"We ask for your understanding regarding the fact in the recovery period, it is difficult for him to participate in several schedules including promotions for his latest project," said his agency.

In addition to apologizing, the agency also hopes that Cha Joo Young can recover so that he can meet fans as soon as possible.

"We will do our best to support actress Cha Joo Young so that she can greet you in a healthy condition after treatment," the agency concluded.

Some of Cha Joo Young's upcoming projects are the film Sister with Jung Ziso and Lee Soo Hyuk. In addition, he also played the Korean drama Climax with Ju Ji Hoon which is scheduled to air in March.
