Starting Tomorrow, PT KAI Opens Ticket Sales for the 2026 Eid Period

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia or KAI (Persero) will officially start selling train tickets starting Sunday, January 26, 2026 or H-45 for travelers who plan to depart on March 11.

KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba said the plan was part of the company's strategy to anticipate a surge in mobility to be more orderly.

"With the H-45 system, customers have enough time to plan their trips. This also helps us distribute passenger flows more evenly during the Lebaran Transportation period," said Anne as quoted from a written statement, Saturday, January 24.

Later, the sale will be carried out gradually by following the departure date. The first departure schedule or starting March 11 can be ordered tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the departure schedule on March 12, 2026 or the day after it can be ordered on Monday, January 26, 2026. Likewise, until the last departure on April 1, 2026 which can be ordered starting on February 15.

Anne appealed to the public to purchase tickets only through the official KAI channel, namely the Access by KAI application, the booking.kai.id website, the KAI Contact Center 121, official sales partners, and online travel agents that cooperate with KAI.

"We invite the public to always buy tickets through official channels to avoid the risk of fraud and unnecessary additional costs," he added.
