Alleged Case of Misappropriation of Fuji Money Rises to Investigation, Police Ready to Call Witnesses and Perpetrators

JAKARTA - The case of alleged embezzlement of money reported by celebrity Instagrammer Fujianti Utami Putri or commonly known as Fuji, is now entering a new phase. The police have raised the status of this case from investigation to the investigation stage.

This good news was conveyed by Fuji's lawyer, Sandy Arifin, after accompanying his client at the Police.

"We just got information today that the status has risen to an investigation," said Sandy at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday, January 23.

With the rise to the investigation stage, Fuji is scheduled to return next week. His presence is to sign the Investigation Report (BAP).

"Next week I will come here again, maybe on Thursday, to sign the Report of the Examination (BAP)," explained Sandy.

In addition to Fuji, the police will also call back the witnesses who have previously been examined. Not only that, the accused party, who is the former admin who endorsed Fuji, will also be immediately examined.

"Later, when the person concerned is examined, he will be asked, where is this money going?" said Sandy.

Investigators will trace the flow of funds that are suspected to have been embezzled. This opens up the possibility of new suspects if the involvement of other parties is found.

Fuji himself reported his former admin for allegedly embezzling endorsement funds with losses estimated at billions of rupiah.
