Indonesia Masters schedule: Six home representatives compete for the final ticket

JAKARTA - Six host representatives will continue their fight to compete for the final ticket for the BWF World Tour Super 500 Daihatsu Indonesia Masters 2026 at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta.

The most interesting match will be presented in the men's doubles "civil war" match which brings together Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani against Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin.

This duel ensures Indonesia has one representative in the final, as well as the second meeting of the two pairs in the last two weeks after Sabar/Reza defeated Raymond/Joaquin at the 2026 Malaysia Open Super 1000 with a score of 21-18, 21-9.

Even so, Raymond/Joaquin came with high confidence after eliminating the second seed Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri in the quarterfinals yesterday, with a score of 18-21, 21-19, 21-14.

From the men's singles sector, Alwi Farhan is scheduled to open the Indonesian semi-final series. Alwi will face Taiwan's representative Chi Yu Jen. This match is an important test for Alwi to maintain Indonesia's opportunity to break into the men's singles final like last year's edition through Jonatan Christie.

In the mixed doubles, Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu faced a tough challenge from the Danish pair Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Boje.

Meanwhile, the two Indonesian representatives in the women's doubles will also appear on the afternoon and evening schedule. Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum is scheduled to meet the Japanese pair Arisa Igarashi/Miyu Takahashi, followed by Lanny Tria Mayasari/Apriyani Rahayu's match against Malaysia's top seed Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan.
