Not Neglect, Ressa's Lawyer Accuses Denada of 'Dumping' Child

JAKARTA - Ressa Rizky's lawyer, the man who claimed to be the biological son of Denada, Ronald Armada, stated that the term "child abandonment" was not enough to describe what his client had experienced.

According to him, the most appropriate term to be the title of his lawsuit is "throwing a child".

"The most appropriate thing is actually the concept: Throwing Children Away," said Ronald Armada via video connection, Thursday, January 22.

He also explained the fundamental difference between the two terms. "Because if the child is abandoned, the parents still admit that he is their parents. This throws away the child," he explained.

This statement indirectly accused Denada, from the beginning, of never acknowledging Ressa as his child. This is considered much more cruel than just abandoning.

The term "throwing away a child" was launched to give a more accurate picture to the public. He wants the public to be able to provide the right social assessment (social justice) to Denada's figure.

"If it's social justice, it's the pure authority of the public to make judgments. How is the true identity of 'Mother Peri' like this," he said, mocking Denada's image.

The use of this very strong term shows how deep the wounds and disappointments felt by the Ressa party. They feel they have been "thrown away" and their existence is not recognized.

When asked if the punishment for "throwing a child" was heavier, Ronald left the judgment to the public and the media.

"Ah, it's just friends who judge it," he said.
